More than 1,000 road users have been arrested and 900 vehicles impounded by law enforcement officers in operations across the country over the weekend.
Gauteng police have launched a manhunt for a group of suspects after a taxi boss was shot and injured in a drive-by shooting on the Winnie Mandela off-ramp on the N1 South on Thursday.
The N1 South between the N4 off-ramp and Lynwood Road in Pretoria was closed on Monday morning after two trucks were involved in a collision and caught alight.
