KUWAIT CITY, March 2: The COVID-19 Emergency Committee has this week been reviewing the decisions imposed since February 7 to limit the spread of the COVID- 19 virus, which are scheduled to end next Sunday, provided it refers its recommendations to the Cabinet meeting this Thursday, reports Al-Nahar daily. According to informed sources, the general trend is to extend the application of the strict measures for two more weeks or perhaps even a month based on the Cabinet’s opinion.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Health affirmed that the statement circulating about the increase in COVID-19 cases in ten areas inhabited by citizens, and that those areas may be isolated if the cases continue to increase at this rate, is incorrect.
Cases at Mubarak Hospital on rise
KUWAIT CITY, March 2: The Ministry of Health (MoH) has reiterated that no unexpected side effects or any death related to Covid-19 vaccinations have either been recorded or monitored among all people who have received the Covid-19 vaccination by registering on the ministry’s platforms. A member of the Supreme Committee for Vaccines in the Ministry of Health, Dr. Khaled Al- Saeed, in a statement said Covid-19 vaccinations currently available in the country have not shown any side effects irrespective whether the recipient was earlier infected with the virus or not and had not shown any symptoms at that time.
