Dimapur, Nov. 14 (EMN): A team of 12 members from the World Bank arrived Nagaland on November 13 on a four-day visit to the state, a DIPR report stated. The World Bank Team held a meeting with the Core Committee & Technical Committee for implementation of Enhancing Landscape and Ecosystem Management (ELEMENT) project on Monday under the chairmanship of Y Kikheto Sema, Agriculture Production Commissioner in Kohima. The members deliberated on the overview, concept, scope, preparedness, government approvals, rationale, economic analysis, DEA readiness filter, and timelines of the project. There was also a threadbare discussion on managing procurement, finance management, contract and environment and social safeguards in the World Bank-funded projects.
