The team of police officials conducted a 72-hour search operation in the states of Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan, resulting in the arrest of three accused from Rajasthan and one from Jharkhand.
Three members of the Aman Sahu gang were arrested by the anti-terrorist squad (ATS) from Patratu area of Ramgarh district. The arrested miscreants were identified as Vikas Kumar, Gulshan Kumar, and Mahtab Alam. Two country-made pistols, 21 cartridges, a motorcycle, and two mobile phones were seized. The accused had fired at various locations during extortion attempts. The ATS is actively identifying properties of organized crime groups for confiscation.
Notorious Aman Sahu gang’s three members, who opened fire on coal businessman Siddhant Bauri and demanded extortion, have been arrested. The ATS team has arrested all three criminals from Patratu in Ramgarh district. Two pistols and eight live cartridges were also recovered from them.
