Napalm is a chemical agent that was employed against the Japanese people during World War II and used in firebombs and flamethrowers during the Vietnam War. Its use as a war tool was banned by the United Nations in the 1980s, and for many Asians, the name conjures up horrific memories of the Vietnam conflict.

Xzibit Offers $10K After Napalm Warehouse Is Looted

Los Angeles, CA – Veteran West Coast rapper Xzibit is offering a $10,000 reward for tips leading to the arrest of some early morning thieves. On Thursday morning (April 8), the X to the Z shared an Instagram video capturing some of the damage done to his warehouse, where he presumably stores his Napalm Cannabis products. The company name stirred up some controversy earlier this week due to its association with deadly weapons and the Vietnam War. Now, Xzibit believes he’s being targeted. “What you’re looking at is someone broke into my warehouse last night,” he explains in the clip. “They couldn’t do it with the media shit, so they come and do it at my place of business. Guys, I’m being targeted. This shit is crazy. They come into my warehouse and my place of business, kick my doors in. Just … look at him. Look at him. Four in the morning. It’s an inside job. This is not random. Yo, fuck y’all. We still rollin.”

Xzibit s Napalm Weed Line Pulled From Dispensaries Over Vietnam War Reference

Source: Johnny Nunez / Getty Xzibit just learned a big lesson when it comes to branding. His Napalm weed line is giving the Asian community some bad vibes and for good reason. As spotted on  TMZ, the West Coast legend just got put on notice for creating a cannabis company that Asian Americans find offensive. The Napalm Cannabis name is giving users and nonusers alike a painful reminder of the chemical agent that primarily makes up the bombs that were infamously dropped on Vietnam. These attacks killed over a million Vietnamese, most of them were estimated to be civilians. Additionally, their grenade-shaped release drew additional ire due to the war weapon reference. Naturally, folks online dragged the “Get Your Walk On” rapper for his insensitive approach.
