Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken 400 decisions in a short span to impress voters in the Himalayan state to retain his government, which is going for polls early next year. The state has not repeated any government .
NOIDA: Even as chief minister Yogi Adityanath announced the population policy 2021-2030 on the occasion of the World Population Day, the Nav Urja Yuva Sanstha (NUS - a local youth body) carried out an awareness drive in the city on Sunday on the ill-effects of the increasing population. During the drive, members from the group apprised residents especially, the economically weaker sections living in the city, of the rising illiteracy, unemployment, hunger and poverty as the results of uncontrolled population.
“On the occasion of World Population Day, we appealed to the people to come forward in spreading awareness toward population control in the country.
