NASA administrator Bill Nelson will visit ISRO to see the low earth orbit observatory NISAR and India s first astronaut Rakesh Sharma. The joint NISAR mission, scheduled for launch in 2024, will help manage natural resources and provide information for scientists to understand climate change effects. The US will also help train and send an Indian astronaut to the International Space Station by the end of 2024.
