As Ukrainian officials begin filing asset declarations, controversies surface

The discoveries follow the re-opening of the public register of electronic declarations by the National Agency for Corruption Prevention (NACP) on Dec. 10. Ukraine's electronic asset declaration system, a key anti-corruption tool, was created after the pro-Western 2014 EuroMaidan Revolution.
