MANANG, July 13: The lumpy skin disease has been detected in Manang district. A veterinarian at the Veterinary Hospital and Livestock Service Expert Center, Manang, Narayan Kusum said the lumpy skin disease was detected in an ox reared by a farmer of Chame Rural Municipality-2, Thanchowk.
The proposed circuit is named Buddha Himal-Himalchuli Great Lake Circuit Trail and will pass through the highlands and touch the foot of mountains in northeast Lamjung and northwest Gorkha districts.
Floods triggered by incessant rains in Manang have largely damaged schools, leaving students, teachers, and guardians in distress. Of the four secondary schools in Manang district, three have been badly damaged by the floods.
