Longtime Bethlehem City Councilman J. William Reynolds held a large lead over his Democratic opponent in Tuesday’s mayoral primary, according to unofficial results as of early Wednesday morning.
Reynolds was up about 1,300 votes over Dana Grubb, 70, a former city administrator, according to unofficial Northampton and Lehigh county election results just before 1 a.m. Lehigh County still has outstanding mail-in ballots, while Northampton was reporting votes from all precincts, but none were complete.
