National Broadband Policy 2021 – Consultation Draft
Islamabad, January 28, 2021 (PPI-OT): Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication Pakistan (MoITT) is the national focal Ministry and enabling arm of the Government of Pakistan for planning, coordinating and directing efforts to initiate and launch Information Technology and Telecommunications programs and projects aimed at economic development of the country.
The Ministry of IT and Telecom has formulated the Consultation Draft of National Broadband Policy 2021 which has been uploaded at https://moitt.gov.pk/
Accordingly, comments from all stakeholders are invited via email i.e. feedback.NTP@moitt.gov.pk. Last date for submission of feedback is February 15th 2021.

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information Technology Syed Aminul Haque said Thursday that more than 900,000 hacking incidents take place in Pakistan every day.
Praising his ministry as he addressed an event in Islamabad, the IT minister went on to say that his ministry thwarts 900,000 hacking attempts daily.
