The BMRCL team announced on Tuesday morning that green line services would be affected due to a technical glitch at Rajajinagar metro station. Services would be only available between Nagasandra to Yeshwanthpur and Sampige Road to Silk Institute Metro Stations on the green line. Single-line operations were being done for metro train operations on the green line between Yeshwanthpur and Sampige Road Metro Stations to reduce the inconvenience to metro passengers. Meanwhile, due to the snag, thousands of commuters were affected.
According to Anjum Parvez, managing director of the BMRCL, the rear wheels of the recovery road rail broke down while conducting trial runs at around 2:30 am on Tuesday.
Sources shared that it is very late to relocate the station building as engineering works have commenced and there are other challenges at the location the citizens want the station to be shifted at
