ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Education, Professional Training, and National Heritage Shafqat Mehmood on Tuesday launched an e-portal and mobile phone application designed for the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) for granting equivalency certificates.
The minister, addressing the ceremony, said that IBCC was following the directions of Prime Minister Imran Khan by introducing transparency, ease of doing business, and customer facilitation.
According to the prime minister’s vision, the launch of such an application is not only a revolutionary step but also a signature project of the Ministry of Education that intends to minimise the problems of the public and increase their accessibility to the IBCC.

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Education, Professional Training, and National Heritage Shafqat Mehmood has presided over a meeting on technical and vocational education and training (TVET).
According to the education ministry, Mehmood presided over the high-level meeting attended by important stakeholders of the TVET sector.

SUKKUR: Federal Minister for Education, Professional Training and National Heritage Shafqat Mehmood Saturday said the time had come to open the educational institutions.
Speaking at a ceremony, he said from 1st February, all educational institutions would be opened. He said the nation could not afford the closure of educational institutions anymore because they had suffered much due to the COVID-19. He said there will be periodical meetings to review the COVID-19 situation. He said Prime Minister Imran Khan loved all provinces but he loved Sindh the most.
He said Sindh was rich in natural resources as well as archaeological sites and was contributing much revenue to Pakistan.
