Antioch city Councilmember Mike barber annika says hes been working and monitoring number of staffing level within the Police Department for the past 4 to 5 months. And now the number of officers has gotten so low. He feels the council needs to intervene. A sideshow in any marina parking lot just about a block from the Police Department left one car in the river. Another damaged a water main and a 3rd crashed into a fire hydrant. City Council Member mike says theres a void in the Police Department. Resulting in incidents like this one im told right now we have approximately e 31 officers including supervisors to cover 7 beat on a 24 7. 365 day year operation.
