Australia Post has launched new packaging that includes a dedicated spot for Indigenous land names so Australians can recognise traditional Country on their mail.
The dedicated address line for First Nation country has been introduced during NAIDOC week and will be a permanent fixture on Australia Post packaging from today.
Australia Post s National Indigenous Manager and Noongar man Chris Heelan said the new initiative is a result of customer feedback and consultation with First Nations Gomeroi woman Rachael McPhail.
