If you re interested in learning about endangered species, environmental history and other conservation topics, a two-week conference and workshop are taking place virtually this month.
The Fourth Annual Marianas Terrestrial Conservation Conference and Workshop will be held virtually on June 8-10 and 15-17, with talks from 7-10:30 a.m.
The free conference includes short talks and panel discussions on environmental history, ecosystem restoration, endangered species conservation, invasive species management, conservation planning efforts, the Cocos Island brown treesnake invasion, and conservation education.
Throughout the two-week conference period, in-person workshops and field trips will provide participants with the opportunity to learn about natural history and conservation efforts in the Marianas.
