Three NCP party leaders, who had attended the oath-taking ceremony of Maharashtra DCM and former NCP leader Ajit Pawar, have been expelled.

Ajit Pawars supporters were irked by Sharad Pawar and Supriya Sule sharing dais with Rahul Gandhi in Patna and their willingness to accept him in apex role, as per sources.

After Ajit Pawar joined the Shiv Sena-BJP alliance in Maharashtra, the NCP leader took oath as the Deputy Chief Minister of the state.

Undeterred by his nephew Ajit Pawars rebellion, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar on Monday vowed to rebuild the party.

With Ajit Pawar's big mutiny putting a question mark on the number of legislators left with Sharad Pawar's faction of the NCP, the Congress has struck while the iron's hot and said that it will demand the Leader of Opposition post.

The Maharashtra bombshell dropped by the newly-appointed Deputy Chief Minister on Sunday morning was a long time in the making, with some Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leaders suggesting partnering with the ruling BJP in the last week of April.

Jarandeshwar Co-operative Sugar Mill Ltd became operational in the year 1999-2000 during which it obtained loans from MSCB from time to time, when Ajit Pawar was on the bank’s board of directors.

Dismissing speculations of a split in the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), senior party leader and former Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar has said there is no truth in rumours of him joining the BJP.
