"Happy World Teacher's Day sa lahat ng ating mga guro (to all our teachers)," he said in his official Twitter account. He praised them for pursuing a profession that demands a lot of sacrifice and commitment. "Ang inyong serbisyo at kontribusyon sa larangan ng edukasyon ay isang trabahong kailanman hindi ko mapapantayan. Saludo ako sa inyo (Your service and contribution in the field of education is a job I can never match. I salute you)," he added.
