Helpful: The UFR Glossary. Final reminder: Eyabi [was Anoma]'s name is now Eyabi Okie. Substitution Notes: With scrub season over the depth chart compressed down to 20 guys in the rotation and 22 who played total. M also went small in this one, matching 12 personnel with a nickel and 11 personnel with Makari Paige in for a linebacker. Goode was the 4th DT to play but got bowled around and Benny came in. On the other side, UMD kept trying to get weird matchups with 2 or 3 RBs, multiple tight...

This article stole the sponsor:Ā Neck Sharpies is sponsored by HomeSure Lending and Matt Demorest, who's been busy lately becauseĀ the low mortgage ratesĀ right now are expected to go up again in January. It usually takes Matt and his people about 5 minutes to know if a refi makes sense, and if it doesn't they'll tell you. You know the guy, and you know from a bunch of other readers that he does a better job and charges way less than the mills. ------------------------------------...

I did this with the defense previously, and finally got around to the offense. Bear with me, Excel Geniuses, as I struggle to make the vlookup to index(match) transition. A lot of the lessons were discussed so often in the UFRs that it's not worth going over them again. Split Zone was their base running play, and they struggled all season to find appropriate counters for what defenses prepared against it because the natural counter for itāQB keeper on zone readāwas not something they co...

Formation Notes: UGA plays with a āJackāāa small DE that I counted as a LB even though he sets up on the line, like below. The offensive formation here is what we call āFritz.ā This from UGA is āNickel Oddāāitās like āSplitā but with the DT at a perfect 0 technique. On Michiganās side, Erick Allās split is what Iāve been calling ādemi.ā Substitution Notes: Once again trueblueintexas has us covered. McCarthy rotated in until McNamara went on tilt and JJ finished th...

My answers ran long on NIL and transfers and Michiganās clans, so I broke this mailbag into parts. The first is here, and this is the second, focused more on the Michigan 2022 questions. There were enough questions about Michiganās scheme that I might pop out a third next week, or decide to save them for Neck Sharpies over the offseason. Program Direction? UofM Die Hard in Seattle asks: Do you, Brian, Alex, etc ā¦feel like this ship is finally ready to run on all engines, consistently year ...

Neck Sharpies: The Ravens 5-1-5 Defense Seth February 3rd, 2021 at 11:50 AM This article has a sponsor: Neck Sharpies is sponsored by HomeSure Lending, and when I say sponsored I mean I get texts from the guy saying āYou need to write a Neck Sharpies.ā The guy is Matt Demorest, whos been busy lately because like passing down defensive fronts these days if your rate still has a "4" or a "3" at the start of it youre doing it wrong. It usually takes Matt and his people about 5 minutes to know ...

Thanks to all who commented on yesterdays DCC post on Clinkscale. Today Ill recap what I found in taking a closer look at Cincinnati Defensive Coordinator/LB CoachĀ Marcus Freeman. I was pushing diary length on the last one, and this goes even more in depth, but the board has more activity so Im sticking with it. Profile If youre sold on a youth movement, the 34 year old Freeman is a bit beyond "wunderkind" status forĀ 24/7sĀ 30under30 listĀ but nearly half the age of Don Brown. Hes another Ohi...
