January 15 : Randeep Hooda is all set to make his debut in the digital space. The actor took to his Instagram handle today and revealed that he is starting shoot for his new web series today, a Jio Studios and Gold Mountain Pictures project.
Sharing two pictures on his Instagram handle, Randeep revealed that he is starting shoot for his web series Inspector Avinash. Based on Avinash Mishra’s life, the project is directed by Neerraj Pathak, who is also producing it along with Krishan Chowdhray. Randeep is gearing up to shoot for his debut web-series Inspector Avinash , a cop thriller based on real events in the life of police officer Avinash Mishra. He started shooting for the series on Friday. Portraying a super cop like Avinash Mishra is exciting and challenging at the same time. I m thrilled to start the year with this series and looking forward to present a thorough entertainer to the audience with this one, Randeep said.
Apne 2: Director Anil Sharma, writer Neerraj Pathak reunite for the sequel
A sequel to Apne, Apne 2 will see Dharmendra team up with his sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol once again, and this time the family has grown to include his grandson Karan Deol as well.
For Apne 2, producer Deepak Mukut and director Anil Sharma have reunited with the original Apne writer Neerraj Pathak. But it was not a smooth ride. The association hit a roadblock very early on when Neerraj contracted Covid 19 and reached out to Sharma. But instead of looking for a replacement, the makers chose to wait for him until he fully recovers.

Legendary actor Dharmendra will be joined by his sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol and grandson Karan Deol for the sequel.
Talking about roping in Pathak for Apne 2 , Sharma said, I had been looking out for the perfect script to make Apne 2. I had received around 10-12 story ideas but Neerraj who worked with us and wrote Apne for us came up with this fantastic script which touched all of us.
