AHMEDABAD: The management of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A), seems to be heading back to square one as far its plan to partly demolish the work of American architect Louis Kahn on its campus goes.
The country’s premier business school’s decision to raze 14 of 18 student dormitories earlier this month has been opposed by architects, heritage experts and historians who highlighted the need to conserve these historic buildings. They also questioned the reasoning behind the move.
