complying. you know, that's a real serious problem. i don't think it's a criminal problem based on what we know so far, but it is a really serious one. i do think that congress needs to take a look at the whole system for maintaining presidential records and classified information because these -- are really important. we don't know exactly what these biden documents are, vis-à-vis the trump ones. we know the trump won, some of them are atomic energy, and some very serious things. we haven't heard anything yet. time will tell, you know, i'm not so far worry there's any criminal liability for joe biden. >> you just said a moment ago, neil, that congress needs to take a look at document handle lane and things. what we know is that the new republican majority is very interested in president biden document case. congressman james comer, the republican chair of the house oversight committee tweeted last night, biden's white house
claims all classified documents were turned over. now the justice department found more. is the scavenger hunt over? does he have, my question to you, neil, is does he have, does the congressman, the chairman, have a point? why is there a drip, drip, drip of information? >> wall, that i think i can understand, just by the way that the reporting says, for the president biden's team, has been told by the justice department to basically be quiet. to not be as forthcoming, just because the investigation is ongoing. i assume that's right. i don't have any reason to question it. that would be the reason. and at the same time, i think the congressman -- that the republican congressman has the right. i think they absolutely have a duty and responsibility to investigate what happened here. not to politicize, that to really figure it out. to think going forward, what should the rules be. just because there are some people on, for example, the

neil, thank you for coming to the sunday show. was the significance of the fbi surging president biden's home in wilmington? is this the equivalent of the fbi search of donald trump's home in mar-a-lago last august. >> almost certainly not, jonathan. and we do want to wait and find out all the facts first, but i think we know. something -- 's already. jonathan, i think what we know about vice president biden is that it was sloppy, and it was wrong. it deserves criticism. the reason is that, is a criminal? that -- what they call at the -- you can do the same, acted have different consequences, like you drive a car, and run someone over, that's obviously a tort. is it a crime? it depends on the criminal act. intending to use the car to run someone over, or did you sneeze, take your eyes off the road for a second? those are different consequences. prosecutors are going to be
