The Grundy County Sheriffs Office says, at about 12 40 am, a deputy tried to pull a pickup truck over but the driver sped away going into black hawk county. Yes, the artistic director, Leslie Charipar , tells me that tcr did contact at least one organization that advocates on behalf of the Deaf Community when casting. But admits it could have done more. Charipar addressed peoples concerns on a post on tcrs website. She says no deaf actors showed up to auditions and tcr was just following policy when it comes to selecting actors. Roles and do not get paid.
