Net Zero Imperative News Today

Brian Swett, a longtime member of ULI Boston and Arup's America's East Leader, has been announced as the Chair of the ULI Randall Lewis Center for Sustainability. Working with ULI staff, Swett will serve a two-year term with the Lewis Center. A former chief resilience officer for the city of Boston, Swett recently spoke to Urban Land about the opportunities he sees in the coming months.

ULI’s Greenprint Center for Building Performance is excited to announce that four District Councils and three National Councils have been selected to participate in the second Net Zero Imperative Cohort. Thanks to the generosity of financial donations from ULI members through the ULI Foundation, the program offers grants for technical assistance and ongoing implementation support to a selection of global cities to help accelerate efforts toward net zero.

The donation will help fund a climate change, multi-year initiative to accelerate decarbonization in the built environment.
