The IAF has deployed a range of assets, including fighter jets, missile systems, anti-drone systems, and sensors, to ensure the security of the airspace over Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR) during the upcoming G20 summit. The IAFs Operations Direction Centre will consolidate air surveillance data to detect potential threats, and front-line fighter aircraft will maintain a presence in the skies.

The assets being pressed into service to secure Delhis airspace as well as the flight path within India of various leaders include combat jets Rafales, Mirage-2000s and Sukhoi-30MKIs.

The IAF has already set up a dedicated operations direction centre for coordinating various aspects of the arrangements with security agencies concerned, they said.
