A new rule has been proposed by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in order to fix a so-called “gun show loophole.” The rule will crack down on gun owners who sell their guns at gun shows by increasing what is already required to obtain a federal firearms license for gun sellers.
At least 80 county sheriffs and prosecutors have vowed not to enforce the new Illinois gun control law that bans 170 kinds of semi-automatic rifles and places limits on ammunition magazines.
