If you re not Aniplex USA, you can t license or renew Aniplex Japan titles (here s a blog post of mine from years back showing the situation). So far the only exception has been RightStuf who was allowed to renew Sound of the Sky and relicense Gravitation for Blu-ray. Everyone else was losing their Aniplex Japan titles and weren t able to get anything in a long time. For instance, the last time Sentai Filmworks was able to license an Aniplex Japan title was Rurouni Kenshin: New Kyoto Arc in 2013 (the license has since expired).
