Dr. Thomas Spier and his family have created the Spier Family Dental Scholarship Fund, which consists of $100,000, for the Hunt School of Dental Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso.
Although the event is put on at different locations across the state every 18 to 24 months, this is the first time in nine years it’s been held in San Juan County.
