Launched in October 2020, the second-generation Mahindra Thar seems to be selling like hotcakes. The hardcore offroader bagged over 20,000 orders in around a month and continues to rake in substantial sales. According to Mahindra, the second-generation Thar is racked up over 39,000 orders, making it hit product for the SUV maker. The company noted that it is receiving an average of 250 bookings for the Thar every day. What's interesting is that around 45 per cent of bookings are for Mahindra Thar's automatic variants, be it with petrol or diesel engine. This information was shared by Mahindra while revealing third-quarter results for FY 202-21.
