Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually flagged off the Vande Bharat train from Coimbatore to Bengaluru in Karnataka. The train will cover the distance in 5 hours and 30 minutes, reducing the travel time between the two cities. This is the fifth Vande Bharat train for Tamil Nadu and the second one for Coimbatore. The ticket fare for chair car and executive class is fixed at 1,025 and 1,910 respectively.
