In an attempt to get more New Yorkers vaccinated, Mayor Bill de Blasio has announced a bunch of special incentives for those who get their coronavirus vaccine from free memberships to free tickets. In addition, several companies in the food and beverage industry are giving away items if you show your vaccination card. Here’s a look at the entertainment venues offering free admission. None of the official partners are located on Staten Island, but they can all be accessed by public transportation or they are within driving distance of the borough.

The mayor said people who get the shot will be entitled to free tickets to places like the New York Botanical Garden, the New York City Aquarium, the Bronx Zoo and events at Lincoln Center. Tickets to the Brooklyn Cyclones and NYCFC are also available. “Each additional person that gets vaccinated helps us move everything else forward. So, you re going to hear about these exciting incentives and more over the coming days,” Mayor de Blasio said. Governor Cuomo announced that the Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be offered at eight pop-up sites in the MTA system. People who get vaccinated will be entitled to a free 7-day MetroCard or two free rides on the LIRR or Metro North.
