Five people injured in two wrecks near Holly Springs on New Years Eve

At last word, five people were injured in two one vehicle auto accidents that occurred near Holly Springs on New Years Eve east of Jasper. The volunteers of the East End Fire Department had a busy night. They were first called to a location just west of Holly Springs shortly after 9:00 when it was reported that a single vehicle accident had occurred just east of the entrance to the LP Plant on Highway 190. The East End Firefighters rescued a trapped person from that vehicle.The unidentified driver was treated at the scene and then loaded onto a helicopter and reportedly flown to a hospital in Houston.
