CLINTON TOWNSHIP/MACOMB TOWNSHIP As the school year winds down, the accolades pick up.
The Chippewa Valley Schools 2021 Outstanding Teachers of the Year are: Kathleen Rimmel, a kindergarten teacher at Erie Elementary; Kathleen Myers, an eighth grade teacher at Wyandot Middle School; and Jessica Downham, who teaches science at Chippewa Valley High School.
Each year, the Macomb Intermediate School District sponsors the recognition with the 21 school districts in Macomb County submitting teachers to be represented, with one being chosen at each education level.

New IB-curriculum school to open in Dubai this August

The Primary and Kindergarten School will have a capacity of approximately 1,500 students.
A new International Baccalaureate (IB) school predominantly for Emiratis, is set to open in Dubai this September.
The co-educational Emirates National School (ENS) located in Al Khawaneej I will open its doors in August 2021 with its Early Years and Primary Years School Programs from KG1 to Grade 5.
