Uniindia: New Delhi, Sep 11 (UNI) Taragiri, a Project 17A Frigate will be launched at Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited, Mumbai by Vice Admiral Ajendra Bahadur Singh who heads the Western Naval Command.

The fully equipped warship will be an addition to frontline warships ‘Udaygiri’, the second stealth frigate of the Nilgiri Class, and ‘Surat’, the fourth missile destroyer of the Visakhapatnam class

MDL currently has an aggregate capacity to build 10 capital warships and 11 submarines simultaneously
