The three films before Animal to achieve the feat are Pathaan, Gadar 2 and Jawan. All four mega-blockbusters were released last year.

The overseas box office gross of Animal has reached USD 26.20 million. The worldwide gross of the film surpassed the Rs. 800 crore mark with a total of Rs. 824 crore as of yesterday.

Australia and Canada are the best-performing markets for Animal, both opening to record numbers and now have got a new all-time grosser in Animal on the same day. 

With USD 25.30 million (Rs. 211 crore), the Ranbir Kapoor starrer has now become the eighth Bollywood film to surpass this coveted milestone, sans China.

Combined with its domestic box office collection of Rs. 280 crore, Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal crossed the coveted Rs. 400 crore global milestone, reaching Rs. 401 crore.

Coupled with Rs. 75 crore in India, Animal scored another Rs. 100 crore day on Saturday worldwide, making it two consecutive century days for the film.

Combined with Rs. 74 crore from India, the global gross of Animal stands at Rs. 115 crore, making it the 3rd Bollywood film to gross Rs. 100 crore in a single day. 

In recent times and probably all time, sales are third best ever for a Bollywood film behind Pathaan and Jawan, both of which had close to USD 6 million pre-sales.

At the same time prior to release, Animal is outselling Tiger 3 and Brahmastra but what’s more impressive is the pace that new sales are pouring in which is close to Jawan.
