Secretary-General António Guterres condemned the attacks against Israel and said that while he recognizes the “legitimate grievances” of the Palestinians, “nothing can justify these acts of terror and the killing, maiming and abduction of civilians.” UNIFEED<br />

According to the UN Relief and Works Agency for the Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), for the first time in eleven years, Palestine refugee students in Yarmouk camp in Syria are going back to school in the camp. UNIFEED
The UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator for Lebanon warned that the continuing clashes in the Ein El-Hilweh Palestine Refugee Camp, along with the ongoing takeover of eight UNRWA schools, are preventing the access of nearly 6,000 children who are about to begin their school year, a UN spokesperson said.
