omnibus bill are funding the remaining seven months of the fiscal year. ridiculous, should not be doing this. john: my brain is loaded up with continuing resolutions. i cannot remember a time the way the process is supposed to work and considered and debated the bills one at a time. i don t remember the last time that happened. you know, in the first decade, and the beginning of the second decade, we got most of the appropriations bills, 13 done before the beginning of the fiscal year. there might have been some that were not done in some years, but this is the entire government. this bill funds the entire government and it started in october, november, december, i m sorry, we are three months into the fiscal year, it will become effective in january, and that s nine months more left in the fiscal year, we shouldn t do it this way. we have the biggest enterprise in the world and screwing up how we are financing it. john: it s a broken system, no question about that. have a great
