Korea have indicted the captain of a sunken ferry for homicide. Japanese Prime Minister shinzo abes Advisory Panel has submitted a report that says the government should reexamine japans interpretation of the constitution. The report says the government should enable the country to exercise its right to collective selfdefense. That would enable japan to use armed force to defend countries it has close relations with under attack. Now, the japanese government has traditionally interpreted the war renouncing constitution to mean the country cannot exercise that right. Now, in the discussions, the panel took into account security and defense issues in the region.
