After Master of None‘s three-year hiatus, Netflix has finally confirmed that Aziz Ansari and Alan Yang‘s acclaimed comedy series is indeed coming back for its third season sometime in May. Lena and Aziz directed them (and shot them on film). In early 2018, Aziz was accused of sexual misconduct after a woman described her experience with him after they went on a date. He disappeared from the public eye for a while, but resurfaced in 2019 and did address the allegation during a standup special.

It’s been nearly four years since the second season of Aziz Ansari‘s Emmy-winning series Master of None hit Netflix. But back at the beginning of this year, we learned that the show would finally be returning for a third season.
