and ukraine are reacting to vladimir putin s plan to station to move tactical nuclear weapons to belarus. in an interview on state television, putin said moscow will maintain control of those weapons and the plan would not violate any nonproliferation agreements. so what s the point of all this? what is putin hope to accomplish? let s bring in cnn global affairs analyst crim kimberly dozier. um kim, what is vladimir putin up to. well, he certainly sending a signal that he s doubling down on the war in ukraine. putin can reach ukraine and other parts of europe with tactical nuclear weapons that you already has, um in russia nearby, and we also have, um, knowledge of the tactical nuclear weapons that russia has deployed in kaliningrad, which is in the area as well. but it sends a signal that he is going to put assets into the region to further menace. ukraine further
