John Rome perhaps summed it up best when it comes to what is on the way for St. Charles Parish Public Schools in 2024.

St. Charles Parish has established strong success at the high school level in robotics competition – and don’t look now, but local students are finding their way to the winner’s circle even earlier these days.

Norco Elementary’s newer robotics club, known as the EagleBots, has paired up with the senior captain of Destrehan High School’s (DHS) Wildcat Robotics club.

The Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) released its 2022-23 Louisiana Educational Assessment Program (LEAP) test scores on Aug. 2.

With the threat of severe weather that could include high winds, heavy thunderstorms and tornadoes, some schools closing early or going virtual.
