Despite the popularity of streaming services like Apple Music and Spotify, record sales are soaring, with HMV even making a comeback.

With the passing on February 1, 2021 of Norman E. Record, at age 93, a part of Middleborough’s history passed with him. Record was a Korean War veteran and a well known member of the Police Department.  Members of his family contacted former Veterans Service officer Paul Provencher and sought his assistance in possibly getting a sign designating the Four Corners area as “Patrolman Norman E.
