UPDATE 125PM: The following is a news release from Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong. At approximately 3:30 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office received information of an armed robbery at the Extra Mile, Chevron gas station on North Carson Street. At arrival, deputies learned the robbery was carried out by two males, both armed with handguns.

A 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested Jan. 18, 1:31 a.m. in the area of North Carson and East Park Street. He faces a felony charge of child endangerment and a misdemeanor charge of DUI.
