Midges are back in Northeast Ohio

Midges are back in Northeast Ohio Updated 3:39 PM; Facebook Share CLEVELAND, Ohio Midges have emerged from Lake Erie, and the small, plumed flies are landing all over window screens, cars, and anything in their path. “It’s definitely midge season or week!” said Martin J. Calabrese, a naturalist at Cleveland Metroparks out of North Chagrin Nature Center.
