Itâs election time again in Georgia.
Unlike the general election on Nov. 3, the upcoming election on Jan. 5, 2021 will have nothing to do with the presidential race, but it will have national political ramifications.
The spotlight will once again focus on the Peach State because if incumbent Republican Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler win, it would allow Republicans to hold a slight majority over Democrats in the U.S. Senate for the next two years.
