(11) Union Academy Cardinals defeated the (4) North Duplin Rebels in game one of the 1A NCHSAA championship game. Cardinal seniors, Riley Griffin and Gracie Hollingsworth hit home runs to propel the Cardinals to a, 13-3 victory and secure game one.
