Princeton Community High School Coach Matt Moade gave me a little bit of Jackie s background. She started out playing basketball in the Salvation Army League, then went to the Boys Club for elementary school leagues. Once Jackie hit middle school she went to the EBA in Evansville and started playing against high school girls.

HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) - Officials with Henderson County Schools announced they were dismissing early Wednesday due to the winter weather advisory.
School officials say they dismissed any small groups in schools, as well as the Thelma B. Johnson Early Learning Center at noon.
Officials tell 14 News their grab-and-go meal pick-up time was adjusted to 11-12:30 p.m. All HCS Childcare Centers closed at 1 p.m.

GIBSON CO., Ind. (WFIE) - The Justice Department announced a settlement agreement Thursday with the North Gibson School Corporation to address and prevent the discriminatory secluding and restraining students with disabilities.
They say this resulted in days, and sometimes weeks, of lost instructional time.
The department also investigated allegations that the school district regularly and inappropriately sent these students home early from school, placed them on abbreviated school days, and assigned them to homebound instruction.

PRINCETON, Ind. (WFIE) - The YMCA of Southwestern Indiana is one step closer to bringing a YMCA to Gibson County.
YMCA officials say the North Gibson School Corporation recently voted to donate the Lowell Elementary School building and land to the YMCA of Southwestern Indiana.
They say they have been in discussion with Gibson County community leaders for years about bringing the Y to the county.
With a building and land now secured, YMCA leaders say they have started discussing the renovation of the building based on the community and local volunteers’ vision for the facility.
