Chicago police are searching for a group of masked suspects who investigators believe are connected to at least six armed robberies on the city’s Northwest.
Chicago police said a group of armed robbers hit the North and Northwest sides overnight, targeting several victims including at least three bicyclists. In all the robberies, a group of three males jumped out a silver sedan and robbed victims of their belongings at gunpoint, according to police. Police said the suspects get out of a car, threaten the victims with a handgun, and steal their wallets, cash and phones. In two incidents, the robbers hit the victims in the face.
