It all started with a pickup truck.
That was the gift Amanda Smith wanted to give her husband, a veteran who was in Operation Desert Storm, for Father s Day. However, after talking with a friend, Smith realized she could give her husband more than a vehicle.
Smith partnered with Show Shine, Evolve Graphic Solutions, Platinum Auto Glass, Thunder Mountain Harley-Davidson, Classic Custom Builders, Laser Oilfield, Rocky Mountain Suspension and Howitzer Clothing to turn the gift into a full-blown event.

At 4 p.m. on May 28, Smith and her partners will lead a patriotic parade of vehicles to Evolve Graphic Solutions, where they will surprise her husband with the truck. Cowboy s Crawfish will boil 300 pounds of crawfish for guests to enjoy.
If you own a motorcycle, then clear your calendar, because the 20th Annual Realities Ride and Rally returns to Northern Colorado on Sunday, May 30.
Riders will be able to cruise through five different locations at this year s Realities for Children fundraiser. In compliance with COVID-19 restrictions, each stop will serve as its own rally, where participants can enjoy poker cards (with the chance to win the $1,500 Best Poker Hand prize), breakfast, live music, a beer garden, stunt shows and more.
On top of these fun events, every mile on the ride truly helps a child 100% of the proceeds will benefit local children who have been abused, neglected, or are at-risk.
