On April 1 at 11am a woman contacted police regarding a domestic dispute, court documents reveal. When police attended the Tweed address, the woman said she had recently separated from the man which had resulted in ongoing arguments. She told police the man had sprayed mould cleaner in her face. She had immediate pain and discomfort with a burning sensation on her face. When police spoke to the 47-year-old man he said he had sprayed it but didn t believe it was in her face.

Queensland man propositioned teens for sex, court told

Premium Content Subscriber only A Queensland man accused of sexually inciting teenage girls in Murwillumbah claims he will spend too much time on remand awaiting hearing. Piotr Dadok, 41, faces charges of inciting another person for a sexual act, behaving in an offensive manner and three counts of stalking or intimidation. Police allege about 10.20am on March 7 Mr Dadok approached a 14-year-old girl on Brisbane St, Murwillumbah where he allegedly spoke to her and made several sexual propositions, before she walked away. It is alleged in a second incident, police were called to a shopping centre on the corner of Brisbane and Wollumbin streets, Murwillumbah, after reports two children were allegedly approached by Mr Dadok, about 11.30am.

Woman found driving unlicensed and unregistered

Tweed Byron Police Area Command officers were conducting a proactive patrol of the boat ramp on Commercial Road, Murwillumbah at around 10.45pm on Saturday, April 24, when they saw a Mitsubishi Magna parked at the location. A check confirmed the car s registration had expired on April 22. Further checks revealed the 39 year-old old female who owned the vehicle had a cancelled licence, after just completing a six-month disqualification period. Police approached the driver, who was the only person within the vehicle, with two dogs in the rear seat.

Fake cop in court for frightening harassment of neighbour

Premium Content Subscriber only A Tweed Heads man who harassed his neighbour was recorded on video claiming to be a NSW police officer. Robert Joseph Schwarz, 55, pleaded guilty in Tweed Heads Local Court on April 14 to stalking or intimidation with intent to cause physical harm, and impersonating a police officer. Court documents reveal for the past five years Schwarz and his neighbour had a number of adverse interactions where she had been verbally abused or threatened by him, some of which had been reported to police. The offence before the court occurred at 3.30pm on March 11 where the victim was at home in her unit speaking to a medical receptionist when she heard loud banging coming from her front door.
